Independence
Independence is a 2,700 acre Master Planned Community permitted for 10,800 residential dwelling units and two million square feet of retail. It is the first and only master planned community in the Hinesville-Ft. Stewart area, and strategically located adjacent to the base at Gate 7.
The project is literally dissected by 15th Street, a main access into the cantonment area, and newly emerging retail district. Independence offers a variety of housing in terms of pricing and rentals, and poised to handle much of the growth coming to Hinesville as Ft. Stewart welcomes 10,000 new soldiers and their families.
