Meet me at St. Francis

1980 San Francisco, California

sociali e culturali. Mi riferisco a San Francisco in California.

On the trip again to Italy so I had to shell out in the U.S.. Given the quick period I selected to stay for an atypical town States, but surely at that time whole of wonderful turmoil
social and cultural. I refer to San Francisco in California. We are in March of 1980 were still vivid and the ambiance that originated from those people addressed in the “campus” of Berkeley in California a 10 years right before that served as a detonator, and model for the activities of the “French May perhaps” and our protest that university culminated with the “fight of Valle Giulia” in Rome. The hippie motion was the consultant of a ‘time when younger men and women in California obtained collectively as equal and popular environmental and challenged the cry of “make enjoy not war”. This eco-pacifist slogan was gathered and conveyed by the famous film “Hair” by Milos Forman in 1979 exactly. This film took its cue from the late ’60s rock musical which was the most important product of the hippie counterculture towards the American war in Vietnam ended in 1975. The Streets of San Francisco was whole of Vietnam veterans in dire ailments, even at the margins of culture in California, whilst benevolent in direction of them. He listened to the Grateful Useless, Jefferson Plane, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Clash … but also quite a few other groups that we known as in Italy … complicated! I was lucky to be ready to show up at the concert of The Clash (LONDON Contacting) dwell in a little theater in the San Francisco theater Harfield Sunday, March 2, 1980 at a price of $ seven.5 (LP and guard it jealously ticket pasted on the include) . The working experience was nuts …
