Here at the Peninsula at the Golden Isles, life continues to spring forward in a beautiful, unspoiled region that has never lost its way or its values when it comes to genuine, rich coastal living.

Enjoy total relaxation and quiet reflection in a beautiful natural setting and be just a stones throw from an array of activities along the Golden Isles of Georgia.

Step away from life's frenzied pace and step into the timeless beauty and warmth of the Golden Isles.

Since the 1920's, Americans have escaped to these barrier islands along Georgia's coast. Here, among the stately world-class resorts and homes, they created a unique dressed-down elegance that thrives. On the islands, daily living is all about unfussy luxury and simple, sweet pleasures.

The celebrated Golden Isles consists of four islands - St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and Little St. Simons Island. All located in Glynn County, Georgia they make up a middle section of the state's chain of eleven total barrier islands.

Just to the west of The Golden Isles lies Historic Brunswick, whose streets and squares were laid out from General Oglethorpe's Savannah Plan in 1771. Today, this bustling waterfront town has maintained the second largest concentration of historic structures in the state. Old Town Brunswick showcases soaring Victorian mansions that have been converted to commercial properties to serve this burgeoning community's expanding economic base.
